We show that the energy, force, and torque between two spherically symmetric multipole density distributions are identical to those point multipoles, apply this point-sphere equivalence coated spherical dipole magnets. also potential field of such a distribution equivalent due multipoles located at center distribution. expand inverse-distance in terms harmonic (Hermite irreducible) tensors, whose properties enable us express for arbitrary source series point-multipole interactions. This work generalizes recent on interactions uniformly magnetized spheres [B. F. Edwards, D. M. Riffe, J.-Y. Ji, W. A. Booth, Am. J. Phys. 85, 130 (2017)] spherically-symmetric spheres.
